We used to use the toy cubbies but it didnt work for us. We got this cube storage and it’s been a lot better. We got bins from the dollar tree and then sort his toys into each section. One bin has his cars, one has blocks etc. it really works for us and it helps it not feel so cluttered.
I don't know what country you are from but if you are in the US I've looked up different ways and these organizers can look nice if you are creative and add lighting to them from what some people have shown me

There's also the Amazon shelf it's not at good as Detolf since it doesn't encase the figures but it's pretty cheap
