That should, however it may get hot because of the 2amp requirement from the ipad. The wattage required is only 10w, that's why a USB charge will work. I suggest something with about 150w, as these are usually built better, like so...

400 watts is a little over kill, but that's a good price. The one you mention should work, but the boxier ones have a single plug that will fit in any car, while the one you linked may be too bulky to fit in a car charger (as some are in the console, and not much room is provided).
