Don't get the official Samsung one. It's completely overpriced for being such a simple piece of hardware. Of course the value comes from giving you access to the DEX software, but there are cheaper ways to get that.

This product does the same thing and works flawlessly.

I don't have this exact one. But almost the same.

The one I have has worked flawlessly so far with my Note 8's DeX.
