It is expensive but VERY easy.

You have 2 choices...start with a kit like THIS one by Raystorm (they make the best CPU waterblocks) that utilizes the D5 pump (accept no other pump, D5>all others).

OR if you don't want to start from a kit, you would use something like THIS for a pump and reservoir combo (again the D5 has long been the best pump on the market so you have other choices for reservoirs, but always get a D5.)

Grab some fittings so you can connect tubing between things. You need 2 fittings for the pump/reservoir kit, 2 fittings for the radiator, and 2 fittings for the GPU block. If you want to also cool your CPU (go big or go home) then you need 2 more or 8 total.

You then pick your Tubing making sure the inner diameter and outer diameter match the fittings (the links I sent you do).

Then you want a radiator...you have a fuckton of choices here...but if you're making the investment then get something that cools well enough to last you without buyer's remorse. Something like THIS is a very good radiator.

You will need to buy plug blanks to fill the extra input holes.

Lastly you need a waterblock for your CPU to fill out your custom kit. The Raystorm Pro's are some of the best on the market, they have better flow rates than many of their competitors. I have an old Raystorm (not the pro) and I have a delidded ivy bridge i5 running at 5.0 Ghz.

Regardless of what kit you go with, you will then need a video card block. The EK Waterblock for the 1080 FTW kicks ass.

Lastly you need coolant. For coolant, don't buy ANYTHING except distilled water (for like 1 dollar a gallon from your grocery store). To that you will add some PT Nuke and you will want to toss a silver kill coil in your reservoir.

Make sure the tubes connecting to the back of your reservoir/pump combo are long enough so you can pull the reservoir all the way out of your case from the front. This makes filling and burping much easier (burping is pouring a tiny amount of water in to compensate for air bubbles) than if they are short.

it does click but only at the lower rpm settings, werid. i may just play it safe and get anohter one its not too terribly more expensive. like 30 dollars. I plan to use one of these https://www.amazon.com/XSPC-Dual-Reservoir-Combo-Vario/dp/B008RCERWA/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
for my cpu loop and then a xspc photon 170 for my gpus.
