Haha I'm glad! :)

You can keep sentimental gifts, I keep my small sentimental items - like movie tickets and photobooth pictures in a small memories box. It's really fun to go through every couple of months.

If you're attached to the memories but can't justify keeping a sentimental gift anymore consider taking a picture of it and then letting it go (or like scanning cards). A picture still keeps the memory alive but clears out your storage space.

And yes actually I did a complete jewelry organization overhaul a couple years ago! For my desi jewelry I bought these clear photo cases from Amazon. They fit desi sets perfectly and stack on top of each other. Easy to store in a drawer, or you can buy this case box that holds all of them in one place.

Good luck! :)

Ikea has a lot of versatile storage solutions, so you might be able to find something there if you have one nearby? If she's got a room, there's a lot of wall storage options, and if she hasn't, then there are a lot of cool box storage options. Even if you don't amazon's got some good options too. I've got about 6 of those plastic tackle boxes and a dozen or so hoops and I can fit them all into a black banker box I got off of Amazon : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AJQGNU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It fits neatly in the closet, I can bust it out and grab my thread collection when I need to plan a new project, and while I'm actually working on a project I keep it in one of the larger scrapbook boxes like this : https://www.amazon.com/IRIS-Portable-Project-Case-Clear/dp/B00EFY6CS6
That things fits up to a 12 inch hoop, a folder for the pattern, and scissors, threads, seam ripper etc. Bonus points for keeping the stitching clean if you've got pets or kids, or are clumsy or careless (I fall into that latter category, I love this freaking box).

I guess it all depends on how she wants to store her supplies and how much she plans on having in the future. Hope this can give you some ideas! Tell her happy birthday from the embroidery subreddit!

This shadow box would be great for organization. You could store lots of things that you have multiples of. You can move some of the boxes around to whatever place you like. Another plus side is that you can design this however you'd like! It can be designed to match the things kept inside it or match your room. It's a few cents over $10 does it still count? I would really like this because I have lots of nail polish and it would be perfect to store in this.

I have a really basic Ryobi table saw like this one. My mom asked me if I could build something to store her paper punches on the wall, basically this.

I think for someone with limited skills like myself building that shouldn't be too big of a task but I think I'd need or want to cut dados for the dividers. Is my table saw up for that task? Will it accept dado blades?

Thanks, if it'll accept dado blades I can search on here for which one I should get.

I would start by removing any duplicate cables you might have - after everything is plugged in and working throughout the house. Then sort them based on use: TV, stereo, computer, accessories, phone, etc.

For storage some people like those small plastic photo boxes (expensive one here: https://www.amazon.com/IRIS-Extra-Large-Embellishment-Keeper/dp/B01N7OVUBM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1540143897&sr=8-1&keywords=plastic+photo+organizer) because everything can be kept together.

I prefer a pack of cheap Ikea boxes labeled so everything is easy to reach and out of sight. But I really do need to declutter mine as well. I don't have a home phone so I don't need those cords. Old phone chargers can go to donation or the dump.

Here is the carrier with a bunch of individual 4 x 6 deck boxes inside.

There are two sizes for these. The smaller one, shown in the link above, is perfect for a deck and the associated dice. The larger version here is for storing large amounts of dice. Don't ask me how many, I never really counted.

I recently started a thread about playing Bruges while in Europe and here is how I packed the game while traveling over seas: Left the box at home, packed the board in cardboard and taped it up so it doesn't shift around too much, all other components in photo boxes (link here). I brought a lot of card games with me too. But the photo box approach is actually pretty handy.

I have some 4"x6" photo cases I use for Descent/Imperial Assault but they aren't quite big enough for the Gloomhaven stuff (need to be about a 1/4 inch taller).

I intend to order these 5"x7" photo cases sometime soon: https://www.amazon.com/IRIS-Small-Storage-Embellishment-Keeper/dp/B010RAT0TE/pd_rd_i=B010RAT0TE
