For the nominal cost of a sheet of poly and an hour of DIY repair VS the cost of buying a new hoop this isn't a terrible deal.

I'm not in the market for a BB hoop, but if I was and saw this one I'd buy it and fix it up.

...that said, I'm pretty decent with my hands/tools, so a minor thing like installing a sheet of poly wouldn't really put me out much.

EDIT-

It would also be pretty easy to just use a sheet of plywood to repair it.

Really, a simple repair job.

A hoop like that can cost around $200-$300 new.

For the less skilled, a replacement backboard/rim costs around $80

This is a good, inexpensive piece of equipment to start with.

You can make your own cheapo cavalettis with these cones and dowels jammed through the slots. I think I was able to get the cones cheaper at Wal-Mart than from Amazon, and dowels are very inexpensive from the craft section of Wal-Mart. These are not super sturdy, but they're okay for a MAS.

You can use yogurt lids or pieces of cardboard as targeting objects. You can use overturned bowls in place of those Paw Pod things.

I'd start with targeting if your dog is clumsy. Rear targeting requires very little extra equipment and usually takes a while to solidify, and will likely improve clumsiness the most. Front paw targeting helps too, and so does a target stick. Dowel+split tennis ball jammed on top makes a great target stick.

It's the Team Effort Bucket 2! For most schools, it seems they're cheapest on Amazon. It's kinda hard to find detailed info/specs on the bag, so feel free to ask any questions you might have. It's a bit expensive, but if you're looking for a really good bag (especially 14-way ones), you're probably going to spending close to that much anyways.

The guy I'm golfing with Thursday is a Ute, and likes my bag so much that I think he might be tempted to get one for himself haha

EDIT: Actually looks like there's an open box type one from "Amazon Warehouse" in the new and used, quite a bit cheaper.

I love my zero friction, one size gloves. However some of the stitching tends to come undone if I'm playing a lot. Not sure how many rounds is typical, but my guess is about every 10 rounds the stitching around my interlock finger loosens up and sometimes tears. However I love how they fit and feel and I keep buying more. At only $12 a glove it's fine for a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure that M2 3 wood is the greatest wood I've ever hit & definitely best one I've ever owned!

Also here's Some headcover options for M2 Driver. Ended up buying a couple for myself recently.

Got mine on Amazon and I absolutely love it. Quality is amazing and easily the best glove I've ever worn. This one is 13 inches. I play infield and outfield and it works for both.

Holy shit!

Dude I love you a little right now. I'm doing this thing which gets me Aamazon.com gift cards. I spent a good 3 hours looking for things that will ship to me (Mississauga) from the .com website. I found nothing.

You just killed two birds with one stone for me. Awesome sauce.

I know you said $100 but I have the Rukk Net and it is simply amazing. I can set it up in 10 seconds and put it away in 20 seconds. It has a metal frame so it won't break like some fiber glass nets and it returns the ball. Because setting it up isn't a hassle I'm much more encouraged to use it.

If you really need to stay around $100 one of the Callaway nets might be better, but they take a while to set up and take down and are not that durable. Either way be sure to also get a mat. You could probably buy a used one from a driving range.

Which ones do you think? I normally play on actual courts, but I also want something that is ok to be played outdoors.

Thanks

What about the official ball?

I have been to sports authority and academy sports, but only at sports authority have we seen these youth sticks: http://www.amazon.com/Power-Force-Hockey-Stick-40-Inch/dp/B000O15H4O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1373834917&sr=8-2&keywords=street+hockey+stick

Some people in our league have had luck with play it again sports, but since it's a used sports store, their stock goes in and out. You might want to call ahead.

You are welcome to wear as much gear as you want, but all we require right now is a stick. As of right now a few of our players wear gloves, and the goalie has a few pads, cup and a mask.

I don't think you'll be doing yourself much good. It may help minimally, but the dynamics of shooting a tennis ball and hockey puck are different, especially if you're a beginner (which I don't know).

For example, elevating a tennis ball in a wrist shot would probably involve opening the face of your blade as you release. If you got into the habit of doing this in your wrist shot, it could negatively affect your form with a real puck.

There are soft rubber pucks available that may be a better option if you can't shoot a green biscuit/roller puck/hockey puck without causing damage. For your form alone, I think these would be better. Here is an example.

u/ThisBoysGotWoe · 4 pointsr/RocketLeague

I'll take a look into that. We just did a test game last night in our living room, but I want to go back to my parents' sometime and play a game in the garage. Something like this would be perfect.

Bingo!

This soccer ball

I love soccer, and it's pretty much all I will be doing this summer. I'm going to Morocco too, and since it has a much bigger soccer culture than the US, I'm gonna have a blast :D

Tim Brown Oakland Raiders HOF and Cliff Branch 3x Super Bowl champ. Okay, I’ll look into the pro series.

Just trying to avoid bleeding and fading as much as possible.

This is the football I’m using.

If I bought a brown leather football instead would you recommend a silver sharpie as well or a paint pen?

u/7screws · 3 pointsr/DetroitRedWings

yes they have non game used pucks i bought one one when I went for preseason, forgot how much it cost but it was for sure less than 25 dollars.

they have them on Amazon for 14.00 I'm sure you could find them elsewhere for cheaper as well.

I get the Zero Friction gloves on Amazon for $10-$15 (depends on color). I swear by these things. One will last me 6-8 rounds and about 6-8 range sessions before I toss it. I've never had one get to the "crusty" point, either. They are truly one size fits all because of the material between the padding which also breathes very nice.

I do take my glove off after every shot to air it out, and I don't use my glove when I'm within 30 yards of the green, so that saves it as well.

These gloves also have a tee holder which doesn't inhibit your swing, and it has a ball marker attached as well (I don't use the marker because I never have my glove on the green) but it's there if you want it.

I've been using some pretty cheap franklin street hockey pucks, picked one up at a 5 dollars-or-less store, for 2.99, and its lighter than an actual puck and about the weight of a ball. It just doesn't glide nearly as well as anything, and honestly when it comes to street hockey I'd rather just use a ball.

But you didn't seem too concerned about the actual puck, as much as someone getting hurt. And for 3 dollars I think you can accept at least trying it out. It's 6.99 here but I'm definitely sure you can find it somewhere else.

I’m with you. I don’t need a mirror gold, but something like this ND helmet with a deep purple that isn’t navy blue.

It’s tougher to find the right gold for fabric. I like the Pantone 871, but want something a little lighter. Maybe PANTONE 7767 C?

u/JSurri96 · 2 pointsr/golf

Maybe some kind of training aid? I got myself SKLZ Gold Flex swing trainer, I find it real good for warmup and timing stuff, I got mine for £48 but that was in a sale, maybe you could look to see if somewhere has it a little cheaper?

If you can’t find one; maybe something like a putting mirror; or chipping net? .. I don’t know what you think, just an idea
