I'm actually confident I could find some dog food out there that I could make into a patty then fire on the grill then top off with buns, onions, tomato, maybe, ketchup, cheese lettuce whatever and it would still taste better than a mcdonalds burger.

fucking venison burger right here, hell that's a delicacy in some places

Not to be a pain but the 1lb single item costs $14 but it’s not prime and shipping is $10 . The multi pack is $65 which is more than I want to spend . I don’t have a dog so I don’t know the specific requirements - but searching for small dog soft food on amazon these are some of the ones I find which are prime . If you can find something similar ie for $15/20 that is prime( ps I found all of these on my phone so it is doable if more painful - I’m used to using my phone for everything so am more used to it)

My dog (40lbs, eats about 2 cups per day) has similar tummy issues - months of recurring diarrhea out of nowhere and all vet tests came back negative. Antibiotics cleared up the diarrhea, but a few days after he'd get off them, he'd be right back to liquid poops.

The vet prescribed the Royal Canin GI kibble. We did that for several months (the 28.8 lb bag lasted about a month). Once we knew that the low fat kibble was what cured him, we decided to try to cut down on the costs and find an alternative low fat brand.

The Royal Canin GI kibble has a max fat content of 8.5%, so our goal was to stay around that. Low fat kibble is usually labeled as "weight control". We found Avoderm which is about 1/2 the price of the Royal Canin and we've been mixing half and half ever since.

We also switched his treats to be as low fat as possible (we personally use Old Mother Hubbard's Low Fat Treats) and switched from using PB in his Kong to using the lowest fat wet food I could find - Purina ALPO Wet Food.

It's been about 6 months and he's been great on this diet. Of course, YMMV, but you should totally give it a try and see what works for you.

I know how frustrating a sensitive tummy can be, so I hope this helps :)
