The only thing better than owning a home with no HOA is owning one with no HOA in an area where everybody else does have one. You can have all kinds of fun with them.

Have a dance party, obviously.

And then while you are distracted by the dancing they put a brick through your car window and take your gun.

What you're doing is advertising that you own guns. Much in the same way as people who get those signs to put on their lawn. "Free gun! Just wait for me to leave my house!"

I mean, it sounds like you do have issues with dogs, but that's irrelevant. People need to be respectful of you and your property. What you're witnessing is likely a small handful of offenders, and one offender can often influence others: "I mean, if everyone has their dog off leash, then why not me? I mean, if everyone is allowing their dog to poop wherever, then why am I the only one who has to clean it up?"

We had a problem with this in DC. We simply got a cute sign like this and the problem essentially went away overnight.

this in their window... I always thought it was dumb because he just let everyone know that there was a free gun inside when he was at work.

If people are speeding, you and your neighbors should call your local police station and ask about traffic enforcement on your road. If they get enough calls, they'll probably send a car down to run traffic and slow people down.

If the speed limit is too high, go to your next town council meeting and try to get them to lower it or install more traffic control devices.

If you don't want to do that, I wouldn't put up anything other than one of these.

I ran into the same issue. I found some on Amazon that are $15 for 2. I'd rather pay a little more and know the money is going to the campaign, but 3 week wait sucks.

I bought my house in December, moved in in February. The neighbors let their large cocker spaniel poop in our yard that whole time (probably longer) and when we moved in and nothing was unpacked, I went out and cleaned it all up with only paper towels. About 7lbs of shit.
