what cutter did you get?
for vinyl, definitely use the oracal 651 vinyl. here is a shitload of it for $30, less than $0.50 per sheet. for transfer tape, I haven't found anything better than this. Shit just works. It is 4" brite line transfer tape: http://shop.vendio.com/cncsigns/item/911402157/index.html
you can also use the cricut or silhouette transfer rolls that they have, but honestly it sucks compared to the tape.
Does something like this work?
Alternately just buy some bumpers and some strong glue like gorilla. Acetone will kill it if you're afraid of scraping. Unsure what it will do to treated windows, but it will take it off w/o needing to scrape
If you'd like to make TE-01's windows more opaque you could get some blue gel sheets. Just cut them to size and stick them to the inside of the windows.
