Good morning, pumpkin head! I hope you haven't chosen a winner yet. I am linking my item for the contest. If I win, I'd love these baby onesies! I'm due this winter. I will obviously take an immediate photo of the winner, but once the baby is born, I will post a photo of him wearing the onesies and post that! =) ♥

Also, happy cake day. Have some pumpkin cake!

Our girl wore newborn size clothes for the first 6 weeks. She was born 7#2.

It would be good to have maybe 3-5 newborn onesies on hand. Won't break the bank...

I loved these because they have little mittens on the sleeves to keep baby from scratching herself.

As far as practical gifts, my favorite was a gift card to a Walgreen's type store (I don't live in the States) because it allowed me to buy diapers and formula and dozens of other things the baby needed even after the first few weeks.

Carter onesies are good for lanky babies - the cut is long & skinny not boxy . Eventually my LO grew out of them height wise but not width.

Then we used extenders and these are the ones I got : http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0014MGAYS

Make sure to try each one - the snaps are different on each panel. One of the panels does work with carter onesies

You're in luck, I found one for $10.50

both sides do that lol it's quite sad

If you are looking for something warm for baby to wear out and about for winter, I highly suggest a fleece bunting suit. Thin enough to wear in a car seat but with layers underneath and a blanket it kept my daughter warm through a Minnesota winter. We even bought a bigger one for her second winter and will be getting a third for this winter.

You might like these!

I hate those too. And baby clothes with built in tutus, and crap written on the butt. And leopard print baby clothes? Why in the hell is that even a thing?

However, there is a line of onsies I found on Amazon from Baby Wit that I like because Steve Buscemi on a onsie is frigging hilarious. And being an old school Beastie Boys fan, I also like their No Sleep Till Brooklyn onsie. Also hilarious.

u/DarlingDestruction · 2 pointsr/BabyBumps

Found these on Amazon.

I'ma keep looking, because I'm sorta having fun with this quest, lol. Tis all I could find. Sorry.

u/Jen_Snow · 2 pointsr/BabyBumps

Amazon has them but they're really expensive.

u/guardiancosmos · 6 pointsr/July2018Bumpers

I just want to show off this absolutely adorable set of onesies I found on amazon and immediately slapped on my registry.

I got these on amazon: http://amzn.to/1ns421x However, the stitching must not be cotton, because it stayed white (except on the orange one which I ordered from Dharma Trading.. they sell everything in white!).

u/emailrob · 2 pointsr/LifeProTips

PLEASE buy them a multi pack of plain onesies in that age. Maybe 10-20 of them. New parents particularly don't realize how much this babies poop, and despite how good diapers say they are they frequently get messed up for different reasons. Just plain white ones, nothing fancy. They go under the outer clothes anyway.

You'll need a LOT of them else you'll be washing 3-4 times a day.

Something like this, but there are many available probably cheaper

I'm sending the box out tomorrow. All of the outfits are brand new, and organic. Sizes are NB, 1-3 months, and 3-6 months. These are the ones I'm sending: Little Shrimp, I Yam Cute, Eggcellent, Homemade, and Just Peachy. They're all yellow.

I've also included Enfamil samples. If you're not interested, sorry. I just have no use for them.

And finally there are a couple of diaper samples (sealed).

I'll send you the tracking number tomorrow.

Mitten Cuffs, bro. We used them on our little dude, it didn't stop the scratching all together but it reduced it nonetheless.

u/enigmaticjoy · 1 pointr/beyondthebump

Probably fine but if you're worried about it, or maybe if their hands are cold out at the store or something, you could use socks or get the onesies with "caps" on the ends of the sleeves. My son quickly outgrew his mitts too.

u/searedscallops · 11 pointsr/AskWomen

To me, these are onesies. I'm annoyed that the world calls footie pajamas "onesies".
