Eh, the regular price on Amazon is $45. If that's the brush you want, then saving $10 is a good thing, but it's not exactly a screaming bargain.

20mm is a bit small for my taste, and Vulfix super (the same hair as Simpsons best) is pretty inconsistent. The ones I've tried have been pretty scritchy.

I got one of the Art of Shaving sample kits for free when they were offering them up as a special. Little badger brush, a little squeeze bottle with shave cream, a squirt bottle with shave oil (I only use it while traveling, so I can hopefully re-use the bottle later), a squirt bottle with lotion, and a zip-up case containing a Gillette Travel Tech, finger nail trimmers, a small knife, and my blades. I don't nic my self anymore, but a My Nic Is Sealed liquid styptic is also compact if you need that sort of thing.

Once my AoS stuff is used up, if I can't re-fill the little bottles, I'll just pick up a travel pack from one of the name brands, something like this TOBS one.

Alternatively, Garry's Sample Shop offers a chance to try out new products in form factors ideal for traveling.

Honestly, I've always just sat myself in the tub, with the shower head spraying on my legs, and shaved them like that. For a female, I have particularly thick hair on both my arms and legs, so it always took a while to finish the task. You'll want to go slowly to avoid slicing yourself (above the heel where the tendon is always is the worst for me).

However, if you either have the money to spend, or you can find one with the same head that's cheaper, you can also shave using something like this.
Since my husband and I purchased this shaver, I haven't sliced myself, and if I do end up with razor burn, it's minimal. The best thing is that it can be used for other areas, too.

Get a body hair trimmer.

Something like this should do the trick. If you have a significant other who can help, makes it a lot easier.

I just went and got my brush out of the water.

Never really considered the bacteria angle since it's in water, but now I'll go back to just soaking it while in the shower. I've been happy with the brush (a Vulfix #2197 Pure Badger), but I do feel that it needs to be soaked prior to use.

Thanks again!!! I also notice there is a newer version out there, so I might just go for that...

Considering the amount I was planning on paying for laser hair removal (and hearing about how it could grow back afterwards), I figure to get a variety of dedicated products:

Razorba War Hammer Back Hair Shaver (http://www.amazon.com/Razorba-War-Hammer-Back-Shaver/dp/B002MUAP5G/ref=pd_sim_sbs_hpc_3)
Mangroomer Sku 211-6 Professional Do-it-yourself Electric Back Hair Shaver (http://www.amazon.com/Mangroomer-211-6-Professional-yourself-Electric/dp/B003NCXXIS/ref=pd_sim_sbs_hpc_2)
Remington BHT600 Body and Back Groomer (http://www.amazon.com/Remington-BHT600-Body-Back-Groomer/dp/B002BA5KNO/ref=pd_sim_sbs_hpc_4)

Man...I didn't even know ANY dedicated stuff was out there...The one time I "handled things myself", I basically taped a razor to a broom handle...

Hijack.

Quick tips for gingers and guys who get pimples and rashes easily, also who are extremely irritated by shaving:

Shave with cold water BETWEEN your showers. Shower at night, shave in the morning, or vice-versa. I know, I know: It goes against everything you've heard. Enjoying those blotches? I prefer a morning shower and an evening shave as any irritation will be hidden by sleep.

Use a vibrating razor (I like Gilette Mach 3 Sensitive) and super simple cream, like original Barbasol. It's the beard buster! If you can get away with it, don't shave more than every other day. I prefer every third day.

Use this expensive shampoo and wash your face with it in the shower...gently now.

Use this lotion when you get out of the shower and blot away excess with your damp towel.

Drink lots of water.

You may have to tweak the ritual and formula, but I spent many years devising this one and I never EVER have facial problems anymore. I used to look like I slept with a poison ivy pillow.

Those dudes in the shaving subreddits look like Joe Rogan. Their tips won't work for you, pasty boy.

EDIT: Never rub your face with a towel. Blot.

If you want a cheaper one: https://www.amazon.in/dp/B00TO7K08C/ (Yo have to buy battery yourself or invest in a rechargeable battery pack)

(I personally shave my chest once in a week with a DE razor though)

I didn't mean it like that, I just think mugs look fine sitting on their own. Anywho, here are some i found, but they are a little on the pricey side.

Unsure about the washer, but I suggest:

I bought a Remmington that hasn't failed on me, but isn't really nice. I'm eying this one atm.

I had the same problem but these have really helped me:

If you need to go even closer, use the BodyGroom first then a double edge razor.

I work in finance and I regularly keep my shirt down to the second button, occasionally to the chagrin of some of my colleagues who think I've forgotten to do it up.

Chest hair is still considered to be somewhat crude in a workplace environment so I trim using a body trimmer. I found this one from Panasonic that I really liked because it comes with a few guards that are made for your body so it cuts down on the time that it otherwise takes to get the right look (lewk?) that you'd get from a caller.
