am a fan of how they look! very sleek and low key, usually the ones i looked for had nothing to hold cash, like a clip or bands, but this one comes with three different colors. i had two machine era wallets before so i'm used to this style. plus the card slide feature is pretty cool too!

This Tumi Wallet, actually mine is slightly different from several years ago. But, it takes up no space in my pocket, holds plenty of cards and cash with an easy slot for my ID. The leather has not stretched out and everything is secure. I get compliments on it and asked about it often enough. Would buy again for the simplicity and that it feels like a wallet not a gizmo.

Fair point. I was looking for cheap and book-style. This one is real leather apparently. So is this one, and it has more colors. This seems a bit lower quality, but great if you're a DM with spells, or running two+ characters.

I use this basic business card holder for holding cards in storage along with a ton of other random loyalty cards.


For my "wallet" I use what is essentially a very stretchy fabric/elastic band. I absolutely love it. If you don't carry cash normally then you'd be crazy not to use this--it's the most minimalist you can get.

I don't carry coins anymore, but when I did, I liked them separate from my wallet and zipped, not buttoned. I had something a lot like this. I had this one before, but I didn't like how the coins sat with the cards, if I had more than about 5-6 coins in that zip.

EDIT: Oh, I'll add that in the rare occasion that I actually have coins now, I keep them in that little pocket on my pants. I also usually carry my Scallion there, too.

10$, slim and cheap. I'd rather have money to put in the wallet then spend money on a wallet. EDC stuff (wallet, watch, phone, key ring, glasses, etc) is easy to try and use it to define you, and some people like that, which is fine, I just never got into that as an identifier

Agreed. I don’t mind it though. Fits just fine in my front pockets. Many slim wallets have that lip. Makes grabbing cards from side pockets easier I guess.


Here is an example of a wallet without the lip. Note that you may lose a couple pockets compared to the others. I want lots of pockets.

I agree about getting a low profile wallet. I used to get passport wallets because they were always the smallest. Recently purchased this on Amazon and love it.

I have a slim wallet I got on Amazon a while back and it's great, I'm trying to find something similar but made with decent leather. -- Mine is like the link below but without the clear window and RFID blocking, I'd rather not have any of that.


Surely someone makes something similar but with decent materials? Everything I look at either has two pockets or 20 pockets, nothing like this.

Just purchased this since it’s very minimalistic. Comes in a few different colors & is made of leather. Looks great, especially if you don’t carry much cash around.

This would be a great option then. Only out about $20 bucks if you decide minimalist carry just isn't for you.

Room for a bullit space pen, medium size SAK. Small light. Can even have a skeletool in it, even if it is on the bigger side.

Have maxpedition micro, mini and fatty. Would not carry them in pocket pants. Great in bags though.

I don't carry a wallet or money clip at all. I used to keep all my cards in something like this and just keep whatever cash I had loose, but I eventually realized that I only needed to carry two or three cards at a time, and the card case wasn't really necessary. I don't miss the card case, and it's as anti-bulk as you can get.
