Assuming Kindergarten means five year olds, you'll want lots of basic arts and crafts supplies - crayons, markers, pencils, glue, safety scissors, maybe even paint. Washable is a must at this age.

Colorful copy paper is multicolored paper that can be put through a copy machine - something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Neenah-Astrobrights-Colored-Assortment-21224/dp/B00006IDQR. Construction paper will rip or get clogged in a copy machine; it's too thick.

Kids at this age are just probably getting introduced to letters, reading, and early math concepts. It's an age for simple abstract concepts - shapes, colors, opposites, etc.

There's actually a big range of books you can get away with at this age. Kids who are being read to are old enough to sit through a long-ish book (Bernstein Bears, Amelia Bedelia, even Henry and Mudge). At the same time, they're only just learning to read so super easy books are good for reading on their own.

For books specifically, I can hook you up with used kids books at $1/ea. I think shipping is relatively affordable via USPS media mail. I can't guarantee specific series/authors, though I'll try.

You should be able to buy regular red paper and print it in a home/office printer. Something like this?

If you have absolutely no access to anybody's personal printer (...surely you must know somebody somewhere who has a printer?) then you can call around at print shops, explain what you want, and ask if you can bring your own paper. Not every place will allow you to, but... it just seems like you want plain black regular laser jet printing, just with regular paper. You'll find somebody who is sympathetic. I mean, heck, take it to your local public library and ask to put the red paper in the printer. They'll probably let you.

In terms of printing on black paper, that tends to be more expensive. Have you considered just purchasing black paper and using a gold or red gel pen to handwrite the poems on it? If you're just going to chop up the paper and turn it into paper flowers, it shouldn't make that much of a difference, right?

Going by the toner usage of my brother 8360CDW, I'd be looking at $0.33 per letter (so 6 pages total). That's using compatible toners and assuming 10% additional cost to drum replacement down the line. I must be missing something. The printer itself is going to die at one point but that's why I was hoping to keep those "costs per letter" and then add +50% for a print shop, making it a total of $0.50 per letter (with paper).

This would be in order to avoid unforeseen problems and make sure we are always stocked etc

Mais sinon, j'ai une ramette de papier Discovery qui vient du taff de l'oncle de ma conjointe qui traine en 70g/m^2 et dont il me restait quelques dizaines de feuilles (je préfère le 80g/m^2, du coup le 70g/m^2 on s'en servait pour écrire à la main dessus).

Et dans l'établissement scolaire où je travaille aussi c'est du 70g/m^2, mais je ne sais pas si tu peux les considérer comme pro.
