It eliminates the rear fingerprint issue, while this, eliminates the front finger print issues.

This screen protector has been known to cause a lot of wear on the styluses though. But I prefer to write on things that feel like paper.

Nikon has a place for screen protectors like that to snap on. I'm not familiar with Canon, so I don't know if their camera bodies have the same capability. There are other screen protectors available though.

Can you measure the dimension of the lens itself? I'm attaching an image to this post, specifically, the length of the green line in the photo. I ask, since many are concerned with scratching; I want to create a template that can be cut from cheap screen protectors to protect those of us who wear glasses from damaging the lens.

I couldn't get the camera screen clean enough to not have bubbles when it was installed. Looking at the reviews it might have been a bad product.

Definitely get a aftermarket screen protector for the RX100, the OEM version is scratch sensitive and it's a bitch to look at with marks all over the place. Here's a link for one.

i bought this one its smaller than the wcreen but if u center it right it does the job and saves ur screen from scratches. at first it looked weird after one day i dont notice its there anymore and i have completely forgotten about it

Do screen protectors cause any damage to a (brand new) screen? I just got a Sony RX100 V and picked up this set of two tempered glass screen protectors. Since getting them, however, I read something about this camera already having some kind of film over the screen. Would one of these screen protectors damage that at all (in case I change my mind and want to take it off)? I'm just not sure how they stick as I've never used one. Any advice? Thanks!
