For reference I'm 5'4" and 145lbs but I weighed max 160 at the time of purchasing some of these items. I wear a size 29 jeans but sometimes I need a 30 or 28 depending on the cut/style. I am a 36c so sometimes finding shirts that fit is a mission. Hope this helps


Off shoulder dress. I use belt so I have a nicer shape. The girls fit nicely and the belt is a must so I don't feel like I'm wearing a poncho.

I wear these sightly high waisted with a spaghetti string shirt tucked in. They are comfy and the material is breathable. My hips feel happy and it hugs my curves nicely. I prefer my pants loose and I'm sure a 10 would fit but not as comfy as I'd like.

GET THESE LEGGINGS!!! Seriously. They are so warm. No more cold legs in the snow! And they go on and off easy too, which is super nice. Other ones get stuck on ankles but I feel like these one are pretty good about that.

I also second the comment down below about the board game Codenames. I played it for the first time a few weeks ago and it was a blast. I would however suggest it for groups of 6+ people. Can't play with 2, and 4 is possible but just a liiiiiitle bit too few to have a great game. But 6 or more is what you really want when playing it. It sure makes you think pretty hard!

My opinion is that Gap leggings are the best, but Old Navy are a close runner up and less than 1/2 the price, so I go for those. I wore under bump until about 18 weeks and then switched to full panel, but it's all personal preference.

I went with these sports bras, and am loving them. I started at a 32DDD and am now a 34-36G and they still fit fine. Lots of support and still give some shape.

I love these tanks, which are not technically maternity, but have a great amount of stretch. I wear one as an undershirt every day and then wear it to the gym after work so it minimizes my laundry too, lol! I'm 30 weeks right now and they still fit fine, should last my whole pregnancy.

Its def an athletic style, leaning more masc. a lot of what she wears is “boy” clothing, or more sort of neutral. Never anything overtly fem aside from her crop tops.

She also seems to wear a lot of reds, yellows, and blues. As someone with a similar style, there’s a few things you could search for to get similar outfits. I get a lot from amazon; for this season, you can search for like women’s fall clothing, and pick out what you think matches the style best. She also wears the occasional striped polo. Idk if you present masc or fem, but if you typically present more fem, just be prepared maybe a comment or two. I present fem, but def more tomboyish, and I still would be tiny bit nervous to wear just a polo and jeans, but that’s just me. Obviously you are free to do what you want. I got some New Balance Women's Premium Performance Capri Print Pants in Dragonfly - the red color is awesome and they were on sale for $35 and they feel comfy for daily life. Kinda cottony feeling spandex. But running, they felt like they were heating up on my inner thighs.

Both sets of Nike capris have been awesome. I got their tech tight fit for $49 and their power epic crop in industrial blue for $44. One has net that you (nicely) don't even notice and the other is such a nice bright pattern for nighttime.

I could really use some longer length toe socks for running, like these. I have several of the ankle length ones, but it's getting real cold out here haha!

UA Cold Gear is pretty great. The tights are fleece lined and keep you nice and warm. I got mine at an outlet for about €30 but I've seen here on Reddit that in the US people suggest checking out Marshall and TKMaxx for good deals on UA and other sports brands.

Edit: Also the H&M winter tightslasted me two winters with almost weekly washes and I was pleasantly surprised how warm they kept me and the quality for the price! Also fleece lined. I don't know about H&M in the US, but over here they're often doing 20% or 15% discount codes which I get in emails, and in the US there seems to be a Unidays student discount too.

Maybe something like this? Cheap and free returns, which is nice. Be sure to Double check your size based on champions size chart, just to be safe (but again, they're stretchy so theres wiggle room). Maybe go with a color closer to your skin tone if you're concerned about it showing through a shirt.

Another option for you might be a tank top with a shelf bra, if you're concerned about it being noticeable under your clothes, like this. They have padding, but it's removable. I would expect a shelf bra to be on the lighter side if compression/hold. Nothing wrong with a standard sports, just good to have options :) I would expect these to be form fitting, but not like a compression garment - no concern at all if you want to wear it all the time.

Yes to UA Cold Gear, but don't bother with the shiny kind you see in most stores. I have had the UA Cold Gear 4.0 for three winters now, just one pair, and I am in love. They are so comfy, they feel like pajamas, and they're far warmer than any of the other UA I have owned - I actually sold it all after getting these. The inside is a soft waffle-like texture, with smaller waffles on the lower leg, and the outside is smooth. I can't wear them above about 35 degrees because they're too warm, and that's coming from someone with circulation problems. They are worth the price!

Here you go! I have the Ice Blue/Deep Teal and the Charcoal/Peach Pink and they are both totally squat proof, true to size, and super comfy! They're a little overly high waisted in my opinion, but I think the Gymshark ones were too.

I'm 85% of the time a small, and 15% of the time a medium and I preferred the small in these. I got (and returned) a pair of mediums that fit everywhere except the ankles were loose. The small seems to fit really well! One pair had a printed on tag and one didn't, so luckily there's the butt contour so I can tell the back from front on those. They'll say American S, China M on the tag.

Right? I bought one of those travel hoodies and I wear it travelling every time. I can keep so many gadgets in it and I love that the hood has the eye mask. One of the best things I've bought to help me fly.

It's been so long since I bought a sports bra that I'm not sure what to expect from them any more! I am a 32E/F-ish, FOB and projected w/ soft tissue so I have a lot to hold down (at least, a lot relative to what typical sports bras seem to be built for).

Can I expect full immobilization from a high impact sports bra like the Shock Absorber Ultimate Run Bra?

I tried on the Syrokan high impact sports bra in 32E and still had a small amount of up/down movement, although at least this bra actually did an okay job of encapsulating my breasts. Idk if sizing up to 32F would improve things?

Also ordered the Moving Comfort Fiona sports bra in 34DD, haven't tried it on yet.

TL;DR:

Sports bras. If I want more immobilization, does going up a cup size (same band size) help or harm? How much movement reduction can I expect from a high impact sports bra? What features seem to help, in your experience?

For men. I love these ones so much I bought 3 pairs. They use locking zippers, you flip the zipper tab down and they won't budge.

For women. These seem to only have one zippered pocket on the back but they advertise it as being large enough for things like keys, credit card and phone. I can only assume they use the same locking zippers.
