I still haven't perfected the technique. Honestly I was a bit rushed this weekend and didn't give it the time it deserved. I still managed to walk away with a few "keepers" though.

I'm pleased that I found an acceptable source for sheets to make tapestries. Queen size, 100% cotton flat sheet for $13.21 on Amazon (Prime eligible too!). Maybe not the greatest for bedding, but they work fine for tapestries. Being a little thin makes it easier to fold and dye. I only iced one side and was surprised I didn't need to flip and apply more dye/ice like the shirts and bandanas I worked on this weekend. I hadn't tied up anything that large since my dyeing days in the 90s, and I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Usually there is a label/wording about the rice should be rinse or not. (Japanese : 無洗米 = No rinse required.) Not all Japanese rice are the non-rinse type, so any rice without this wording should be rinse thoroughly.

For example, this bag of Akita rice have that phrase on package clearly, meaning that it's the non-rinse type.

Looks like it’s made for a rear mount bottle cage. Similar to this: link
