Hey friend, so the flies I have are below. I'm really new into fly fishing, but I've fished lakes my entire life. I got these as a gift and they look like there are some good flies in there I think. I think what I might try and end up doing is using a wet fly since those are easier to fish with? But honestly I really, really appreciate the advice. I'm super busy and unfortunately don't get out often, not to mention I'm not even remotely from the area, so it's nice to have a direction to enjoy some fly fishing.

Definetly try some basic shrimp patterns. (I've never fished the Cayman Islands but I will assume bonefish flies will work)

Around docks you will probably encounter some barracudas which are great fun on the fly. Bring some light wire tippet and anything with flash. I also recommend some poppers (the jacks love these too)

You don't need $300 to get into fly fishing.

I agree with the general premise that you can get great identical coolers for cheaper (I also have a knock-off), but 3 times might be a bit exaggerated. That Kodi 20 quart is $157 full price. The Yeti 20 quart is $199 full price.

Fishing hooks that are designed to look like flies have been around for a while, they mimic real flies and are used as bait to catch fish. So technically the flies are fishing.
