  • STAND OUT No need to sacrifice design for comfort with these superbly knit mittens that are unrivalled in beauty and symbolism. Combining the rich traditions of Scandinavian knitting and folk art, Swedish designer Ase Öjbro creates patterns that tell a fascinating story about the rustic charms of Nordic life and history.
  • EXTREMELY WARM and toasty! Never face the pain of unmoving and clawed frozen fingers again! Frostbite doesn’t stand a chance against four signature layers that keep the cold and wind out while giving you that cozy feeling of being tucked in and safe.
  • WELL MADE & EXTRA THICK! When it gets really cold, flimsy gloves are not enough. That’s why you will want these extra thick mittens that hold up against wear and tear. Made by the Öjbros in their small family factory in southern Sweden, these gorgeously woven mittens are so perfectly constructed, you won’t believe how much you enjoy them from day one and for many years to come.
  • EXTRA COVERAGE Generous ribbing at the cuff insulates your sensitive wrist area. This gentle gathering keeps warm air from going out and prevents cold air from coming in, without ever being too tight, pinching, or cutting of circulation. This wonderful cuff also allows you to securely insert your thinner base layers into the mitten, or to insert the mitten inside your coat sleeve for complete protection.

Top Reddit comments about Women's Gloves & Mittens:

I highly recommend Lord and Taylor Black Brown touchscreen gloves. Most of the touchscreen gloves you'll find for sale only have a tiny little dot on one finger, but it's in the material with these gloves so you can use any finger you want to touch the screen.

I actually wear 2 pairs of gloves when I wear these. A lightweight warm pair beneath the touchscreen gloves, as well as wristwarmers.

However when it's really coming down, or very cold, I usually opt for these bad boys. Their mittens are also incredibly warm.

Personally, I would not try to recreate one of her exact outfits, but I'd try to recreate her look. An old 80s prom dress would be a good place to start, like this monstrosity. Then you're going to need a wig (I'd dye it to match the dress), and color coordinating accessories, like gloves, a fascinator (you could probably make this), ridiculous shoes, etc. Last but not least, makeup.

There are quite a few options for gaming; heated fingerless gloves, heated mice, and heated keyboards, like /u/noneofcon suggested. You can also buy glove warmers at any drugstore, they're single use but work pretty well, I used them for marching band all the time.

Alternatively, I generally keep my boyfriend near me, so when my hands get cold, I lift his shirt a little and take warmth from his belly. He only mostly hates it.

I second this, as frugal skier they are perfect.
These are also good:

Depending on how much you use then, make sure you keep up with Sno-Seal or Nikwax, I do it twice per season.

I'm not sure how you would get these to Canada (I use a shipping depot in MI) but I have raynauds, which basically means my hands loose all circulation and get extremely cold, so I need warm gloves. These are the warmest slim gloves I have ever used, and actually keep my hands from turning white with cold. They are super soft and not at all bulky.

*These are mittens not gloves my bad

Hm... Well I was just looking around on amazon, and I have found some you might be interested in:

They've got a few bright colors in there. Check em' out! If they don't have the specific color you're looking for. I've got a few more I can PM to you.

My time has come. This is all on Amazon.

Gorgeous makeup brushes $5.40

Panda gloves $2.58

Panda hand cream $5.08

Lip scrub $4.92

Stitch car decal $2.78

Party light $3.64

There's also a ton of really cool Japanese candy for just a few bucks; there's too many under $6 for me to list them all.

Something like this comes to mind when you mention gloves for typing.

Personally I just keep a snuggie at my desk and I find the sleeves are sufficient. It's zebra striped so I guess you could say I'm pretty cool.

u/SareezST · 2 pointsr/pcgaming

The gloves you looking for are exercise gloves, lighter gloves and they're anti-slip for grip for barbells, etc, perfect for what you're looking for.

I don't know about that stuff, but my friend got me some gloves that have these little pads on the thumb and forefinger that allow electricity to flow through to the phone so you can use the phone. They are from Isotoner. They make them for men and women.

u/WeathersRabbits · 1 pointr/Wishlist

They have more colors Cute huh? :)

u/kyle-kranz · 2 pointsr/running

All running gloves are subpar compared to mittens.

I use a super thin pair of gloves under a slightly thing pair of gloves under a pair of mittens. That way if it's 45 degrees out I have a pair of gloves, if it's 30 I have the liner+gloves, and if it's -10 I have all three on.

As for specific brands, the liners were $1 at Target, the gloves were like $15 at some sporting goods store and I don't recall the brand. The mittens are these.

u/shineeslash · 2 pointsr/CompulsiveSkinPicking

>The gloves are pretty good at distracting me, but I always need to take them off to use my phone.

I'm a little late to the party, but they make touch screen gloves for precisely this reason! :)

u/EyesofStone · 2 pointsr/selfharm

I live in Florida, so covering was always a problem for me. I'm very fond of armwarmers, like this
http://www.amazon.com/Allegra-Fingerless-Elastic-Winter-Warmers/dp/B00ARAQVAQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413328207&sr=8-1&keywords=arm+warmers
Fashionable and functional! Stay safe.

u/caffarelli · 2 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I got a pair of the boy version of these for my husband for Christmas. I won't blow smoke that they're the best gloves I've ever held, but they're definitely comparable to the quality of gloves you'd get in mid-range department stores or at TJ Maxx.

u/huntsvillian · 2 pointsr/gloves

Apologies, men's gloves. I've also got, I believe the scientific term is "big-ass hands".

From a style perspective, as I recall, they looked just like https://www.amazon.com/Isotoner-Smartouch-Stretch-Leather-Partial/dp/B00M0JO23K/ref=sr_1_35?ie=UTF8&qid=1483937998&sr=8-35&keywords=isotoner+totes+gloves, only the style was very obviously driving glove.

Basically take the leather and spandex portions from that link, and let it have a love child with this https://www.amazon.com/Isotoner-Smooth-Leather-Driving-Covered/dp/B001I45Y6C/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1483938215&sr=8-5&keywords=isotoner+driving+gloves and that is what I'm trying to track down.

The problem I seem to run into is that I find a lot of plain leather driving gloves, just not seeing any that mix the two fabrics.

I've tried searching for spandex leather driving gloves, but still not coming up with exactly what I'm looking for.

Thank you for the response though.

u/CermaSL · 2 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

Buying some grey gloves as a gift for a friend, should I get some "normal" basic gloves or something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZBKMG7V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_z1R1Db3XRKXTS which are mittens that can be turned into fingerless gloves?

I think the mittens are really cute but wanted to get some female perspective.

u/betelguese1 · 2 pointsr/AmazonDSPDrivers

I have been using winter gloves by achiou. The black finger tips allow you to use your touch screen and you can also see the rubber grips. Great pair for just 10 bucks.
