You can definitely Google better solutions because mine is basically what you said, sorry! It's a ZWave outlet with a wall wart powering a large LED (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A0VIAFU).

Edit: If you wanted something nicer Homeseer may have what you're looking for but I didn't want to spend $70 on a light.

It's multiple pieces.

Here's flip covers.

Here's toggle switches

For the indicators, maybe this will do.

The plate is probably just a blank with holes drilled into it.

Edit: That plate is probably most definitely a project box bottom. See here.

This type, not this particular indicator exactly, is a good example of a single component you could use for your application. Assuming, that is, you want to go the super-cheap route. I'm not sure why you think that adding the indicator will reduce the effectiveness of the fence, I can't see how it would. The indicator in the link only pulls 20mA when it's on, do you have any technical specs on the supply for your fence? I'd be very surprised to find out that the system overall was affected in the slightest by the addition of a single light.

I've used these before: Alpinetech L22 Red 22mm AC LED Pilot Panel Indicator Light 120V https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HU06NIG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WkS2xbQHF40XY

They are very well made and have a place to put a custom filter for text/symbols inside. 120vac. However, they are not buttons.

If you want that you're going to want to search for "illuminated push button switch" or some variation on that.

Yes they are, they are tied in with each individual circuit on the relay. I use the following ones.

Red

Blue

Sorry, should have been more specific on the LED's. They are modules. LED pilot lights to be exact (see link). Although your first point about wiring in parallel with the 120V coil on relay 1 is probably still a better design.

You could get led indicators that have a screw cap allowing you to write on the inside/put a sticker there.

Something like these?

Don't see why you need the battery backup. The LED will likely never burn out, and well... LED on = power. LED off = no power.

Just a rough estimate. It it was around $250.
I had already had the case, 1 pid, two Switches, the Keyes switch and 3 LEDs.

Switches ($7 x2)

LEDs ($6 x4 two reds 12v and two yellows 110v)

PIDs ($24 x2)

Temperature Probes ($15)

Power Plugs ($12)

Power Plug ($19)

Element Plugs ($20)

Element Plugs ($8 x2)

Temperature Plugs ($12)

Temperature Plugs ($12)

Terminal Strips ($11)

The above list is $203.

Miscellaneous other wires, the key switch and a electrical plug for the pumps.

And I bought some new tools, including a knockout punch set from Harbor Freight.

No, they don't give off enough light to use as a decent lamp. But you can buy them for use in control panels and such. Here are some.

For a lamp, LEDs are the way to go.

It shouldn't be hard to wire lights. You just need the right kind of high voltage LEDs. Though just so you know, the ITC has heating/cooling indicators on the screen.

Adding two lights would require a bit more wiring a 3 more wire nuts.

From 6 go to a wire nut instead of brass screw. From that wire nut put two splices, one to the red light and one to the brass screw for the heating plug.

From 8 do the same thing with a blue light and the cooling plug.

Then change the neutral hookups (white). There will be 4 wires plus the neutral on the power cord. From the two lights run a neutral wire and meet them up with the neutral from slot 2 (disconnect that one from the outlet). Run another neutral from the silver outlet side to this bundle and hook all 4 ends together with a wire nut (the other end of the silver outlet screws should still be connected to power cord).

That should be it.
