I hope this all helps. As far as a necklace chain you could get that on Amazon as well or if you have a Michael's craft store near you. I'm so sorry that you are going through this and I hope for love and peace for both you and your girlfriend.

Four things that make me happy:

My boyfriend

My cat, Munchie

Art and photography

shoes

Something recent that I tried for the first time:

Decorating a hat! I love art and draw a lot, but I've never considered myself to be very crafty. I don't do much when it comes to making physical things. But I love how the hat came out! It looks great. c:

I've found numbered tokens to be really useful as player/enemy avatars. I specifically use these for players and these ones for enemies.

What's really cool is that it makes keeping track of initiative order really simple. The glass tokens are the perfect size so that the plastic ring from a water bottle or most sodas will fit right around it. I have different colored rings for my players. They keep track of their color and the number they put it on changes based on their initiative order.

They're also the perfect size for Battle Mats. They fit right in the squares/hexes perfectly.

Epoxy dots are see through and look "expensive". I only know the sticker variant, but you can probably get them without glue and if not, you can just use something clear to stick them on.

[Edit] I've used 1 inch epoxy dots and then made 1 inch circle with a punch cutter and made a flower inside that 1 inch circle with a flower punch cutter that I filled with a clear sheet flower punched from a clear sheet. Looked very nice.

It's supposed to look like a snake skin.

I figured out a fairly inexpensive and reasonably close build using wound dressing:
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00XNDAVUU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_C7LiDb86BBEG1
Any gray dye can be used to darken it. Once it's dry again, stretch it a little with your fingers and then flip it inside out. Looks just like snake skin.
Pretty close metal tassels can be found on Amazon, too. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B06XQHLMZM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_r-LiDbE5W1050
I've seen people buying snake skin scarves and others just using a wide shoe lace. A little work can get nearly screen accurate though.
Good luck!

Cool, thanks! There's a few in stock at my local Joanns, I'm gonna hit that up.

Edit: If anyone else is interested in trying this, I found them on Amazon, 20 for less than $10. These are super cool.

Most of the time I just use standard poker chips, but if I'm doing a special one-shot or mini-arc I'll use something different.

I plan to use these coins for an upcoming fantasy game.

We used these gears for a steampunk story arc.

I'm a big fan! Just make sure whatever you use isn't too small to get lost on top of the table easily. Some of those smaller gears would slide under character sheets from time to time.

$18.27 in GBP is £11.65. Not sure whether to do the number 18.27 in GBP or to link the price equivalent so I'll do both!

This is £18.00, with free shipping, so "My total is £18.00".

This is £11.50 with free shipping (the GBP equivalent of $18.27) so "My total is $18.03".

Thanks!

I just use coins with numbers on them. You can get a pack up to like #31 for a few bucks off amazon, and they fit in the grid. Then I will have figurines for the heroes. The bad guys change all the time.

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B016QUF1NI/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_Dr2UDb2NQQ3J5

They don't take a lot of space, if you really wanted to get crazy you could get like a seperated pill box and split them into groups of 5 so it's a quick grab with the right numbers. But I just do it loose and write down whatever numbers I draw. They have a hole at the top that I use as the "front" of the monster. They work pretty good.

u/razerzej · 2 pointsr/DungeonsAndDragons

Yeah, I just found that out a little bit ago. Used twist-offs might work okay, but flattened bottlcaps that had been popped with an opener look like... flattened bottlecaps.

Pre-flattened caps or stamping blanks would be a more expensive but labor-saving option (or one could just go full spendy and buy pre-made fantasy coins). Whatever I go with, I owe you for the inspiration!

There are tons of clock-themed charms for jewelry making and similar crafts. Most of what I've seen are sort of a steampunk aesthetic, but it might work for you. Here is a set of assorted clock charms I found on Amazon for a reasonable price.

u/bellas_wicked_grin · 1 pointr/BoardGameExchange

I wanted to add. I just checked Amazon. I was able to find Chinese luck coins in 3 distinct colors at very reasonable prices.

Silver here was the hardest to find. The rest is an easy search.

I bought enough for multiple games, 200 or more of each and paid $47 total. You can get 100 coins for around $10 shipped.

u/upsidedownbat · 1 pointr/BISMUTH

I made bismuth necklaces for many of my friends and family members for Christmas a couple years ago. The easiest way is to buy some bails (like these https://www.amazon.com/Scrabble-Earring-Fitting-Pendants-Making/dp/B07CDV68DP/) and just superglue the flat part of them to the backs of the crystals.

I also printed out little fact sheets that had facts about bismuth and a note that it's really soft and brittle so to be careful with it and the colors will rub off over time if they're handled.

u/GreatCatch · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

This one and this one are cute :)

I have these awareness charms on my $3-7 wishlist.

The magic phrase for cheap metal things is 'charms'. So if you start looking for coin charms you'll end up with tonnes of options like these chinese coins.

u/duckingcluttered · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Be quick about it. Perfect Match! These are on my Crafts list

Try keyword "number charm". These might work for you?
