Oh there are sooooo many FUN things you can do once you abandon the boring gym.
Many of the basic bodyweight things have already been covered here. Here are a few more of my favorites:
A slam ball. It is sooo fun and stress relieving to do slam ball exercises.
Wall ball - You can do slam ball exercises AND wall ball exercises if you get the right one. You'd be amazed how gassed an 8 lb cushiony ball can get you.
Get the big cushiony padded kind like this: https://www.amazon.com/Titan-Medicine-Workout-Exercises-Strength/dp/B01JMIJ2FO/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=wall+ball&qid=1565365546&s=gateway&sr=8-4 The one I have is made by Rogue - big bucks but takes a beating.
Get creative and throw that sum bitch around, throw it at things, pick it up, chase it down. Honestly my favorite exercise to do with a wall ball is to go outside in a field, overhead throw the ball as hard as I can, run after it, turn around and throw it back. Repeat as many times as you want.
Learn how to use a kettle bell. Don't just buy one and start using it - get with someone who REALLY knows how to use it and can critique your form until you do it right. Lots of people have very bad swing form.
If you don't have anyone, then at least watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKx8xE8jJZs

And my top recommendation: Play like a kid. If you have kids, take them to a playground and play with them. Feel free to get all up in that playground equipment, judgmental looks be damned. If you don't have a kid, find a playground that isn't being used. Grab a couple friends and have a great time. Climb, crawl, play tag, hang, etc.
I'm trying to stay fit. I was just recently diagnosed with a heart condition, so staying in shape has become even more important to me to keep things working. I have a really awesome medicine ball on my wishlist :)
/u/mynthe I like your face and all of the things that are part of it
Hey that’s really cool! I was thinking about getting a membership at my nearby gym for this very reason.
I agree that I’d probably go if it meant I had a good place to juggle, especially now that it’s cold outside!
If you want to add a extra “workout” element to it, I’d also pick up some of these:
Champion Barbell Hand Held Fitness Ball, Royal, 4-Pound https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001QTLKFI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_UVX2DbY2FRDAW
I have some 2.5 pound ones from awhile ago and I’ll tell ya, just doing endurance runs with 3 balls is quite a workout.
You can also get foam balls, which are really great for rolling out the armpit and pec areas.
Here's an amazon link to one I've found to be good. The material is just like a foam roller.
https://www.amazon.com/Power-Systems-Regular-Myo-Release-6-Inch/dp/B003GWXVUA/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1487995372&sr=8-4&keywords=myo+release+ball
Buy the gym membership. Seriously. It's MUCH easier to work out in a place with lots of weights and other people lifting than it is to work out in a place with couches and TVs and a fridge full of delicious food.
If you've got a girlfriend, buy a medicine ball and take her to the park and play catch with it.

This is the type of thing you need :)
Good price on these:

I bought this one. No issues, good price.

They could always train on things like this.
just keep focusing on keeping them straight during lifts, and it will come eventually.
also, these.
So, I actually was having the same sort of issue but I'd describe it as a sharp shooting pain while actually curling. A lot of people recommend this for forearm strength along with wrist curls.
In the short term though, I started doing my curls differently. I used to use the preacher with an ez bar but now I do them with a straight bar, bend over, and sort of pull the bar up to my arm pits. Second to this I do curls with the tricep rope and put it all the way down on the floor. This way I can keep my hands in a fist with my thumb pointing toward the ceiling.
I'm not sure if we're having the same problem, but from what I found/learned was that most of it was trial and error to get it to not feel so shitty.
Gyro exercise balls
or
Energy tea
4.4lb ball
If you just search for 2kg (4.4lbs) medicine ball you'll find a few.
Here’s the link to the ball I bought. I got the 12lb variant: JBM Medicine Ball (2lbs 4lbs 6lbs 8lbs 10lbs 12lbs 15lbs) Slam Ball Medicine Ball Workouts/Exercise Strength Training Cardio Exercise Plyometric & Core Training ¨CSquats, Lunges, Slam Exercise https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L774DWU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_zlp-AbNYVN51D
I forget what the papas muscles is specifically. Let me see what I can find and I’ll finish this response later.
Holy shit, I think it is. OP, what do you do with that and how badly has it damaged your house?
I haven't used any of those brands, so I can't give you any feedback about them in particular, however, I use the Wacces brand (it's a link to the US site, but I'm sure the Canadian site will have something similar) in 8, 10, and 12 pounds with no complaints. I've even used them as slam balls with little to no damage. Their sizes vary with weight.
In my opinion, no, the sizes don't matter.
