I always drink them as a ristretto - I never mix them with milk. When drunk as a ristretto, this is the closest any Nespresso pod comes in flavor to a "real" espresso from an Italian cafe (which would be about the same volume as a Ristretto shot - usually right around 25 ml, and never more than 30 ml).
