From one tall person to another get one of these then a rain style showerhead.
It's a great feeling to stand up straight and have the water wash over all of you, front and back.
Maybe invest in a bigger shower head, one with an arm that makes water fall straight down. It's a lot better at getting two people wet/warm because the water isn't being sprayed from one side and coverage is better due to larger head.

6'6" checkin' in here bought this and my life has forever been changed, me and my roommate are 6'6" and up.
