The other thing to pay attention to is the size of the plastic case around the Lightning plug, and the size of the hole in your phone case/cover, if you have one. Some phone cases have very small holes and some 3rd party cables have a lot of plastic around the Lightning plug, which means you can't use the cord while the phone is inside the case.

The Anker PowerLine+ Lightning cables are awesome. I have the 6 ft and the 10 ft and have nothing but praise for them. If you aren't in a rush, they go on sale pretty frequently. You can pick up the 6 foot for under $12.
