one of the best cables I've ever used is the anker powerline+ its kevlar beamed and has steel renforced heads on both ends, i cut one open and can attest to the realiability on ankers amazon page, ill link below if anyones interested

Check out Anker. Their standard micro USB cables aren't anything special but their Powerline+ cables are top notch. I've got several and they're the highest quality cables I've ever found.
you could try this one i haven't used it too much but it seems incredibly sturdy.
Any standard micro USB cable should work, I personally like Anker's poweline+ cables. (I would link them but I'm on mobile)
Edit: Here's an amazon link
I can't help you with the BPM controller issue but, if you're on Windows 10, you can improve the speed of tabbing in and out. Settings - System - Focus Assist, switch everything in there to off.

Also, I highly recommend this cable. Really snug fit, I haven't disconnected since buying it.
After some research I bought this set:
I have a Samsung S7 edge that has a 3600mAh battery in it.
According to some redditors, that played the Beta and had a Samsung S7 edge, I can play +/- 2 hours, that means, with the Anker 20000mAh I can fully charge it 4-5 times... 10 to 12 hours of play time.
The Anker PowerCore 10000mAh is good too, if you have an older phone with a less powerful battery.

This one in particular is what I bought, 6 feet long.

This one is a 10 foot version of the same cable.

And this one is a slightly cheaper version, still very nice though. I was using this style for awhile before I gave them away to friends and picked up the nylon braided ones.
Anker also gets my vote! I have purchased many items from them since 2014, with no complaints!

I think it has a max charging current of 1A. I may try this one. I couldn’t find it in the manual. I just googled it, but it wasn’t straight forward.
