He got it off of Massdrop, but it looks like Amazon sells them as well.

Thanks! It’s a typewriter styled mechanical keyboard. I’ve had it a few years now and it is awesome. Here is the link if you want to check it out: https://www.amazon.com/Azio-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switch-MK-RETRO-01/dp/B01LY32G54

I have this one, but in a wooden style. Similar to the picture in this post and at a reasonable price.

My girl and I love Mid-Century Modern style and we are moving into a house soon and furnishing it with lots of cool MCM style furniture and accessories. My gaming/entertainment desk is all wood and I would really love a mechanical keyboard that reflects that MCM style.

I have had a Razer Black Widow for years (I know) and just within the last couple of days bought a AZIO Typewriter style keyboard to better fit my more mature styling (and not extremely happy with it's typing capabilities)... but I'm not sure that it fits the styling properly, (was going for THIS... but it comes off more Art Deco)... so this gallery is to show what the Mid-Century Modern time period typewriters were like and some keyboards I found here on this subreddit that I liked that seem to more fit the bill.

Although browsing through this subreddit as an outsider, it's very hard to determine where to get these keyboards, how to get the color combos seen and just how much something like these cost.

I really like the smaller Joker3 style keyboard... never had much use for the number pad or all the extra F-keys and arrows. Also no longer need any RGB backlighting.

And I know this seems like it's probably crazy but I really don't want to spend more that about $150 or so on a keyboard as I'm no longer a serious gamer (or typist) and it's really more of an aesthetic thing for me. Also need a gaming quality laser mouse that matches.

Any information helps... and if nothing else I hope you enjoyed my gallery of ideas.

Thank you.

Don't even need an old one. You can buy mechanical keyboards today, though they tend to be pricey. There was even one I saw that looked like an old typewriter keyboard. https://www.amazon.com/Azio-Typewriter-Inspired-Mechanical-MK-RETRO-01/dp/B01LY32G54

It's $100 on Amazon right now. Make yourself happy!

Found it in case you are still curious (Costs $99.99 USD in black and $119.99 USD in colors) with blue switches.

I would recommend the Azio Retro. I do a lot of essay writing and this is very comfortable to work with. It doesn't have any rgb rainbow barf and looks overall very nice in my opinion. Just make sure that you won't be typing around other people because this keyboard is rather loud, as it uses blue switches.

I'm not sure I follow....they are just a black keyboard and a black mouse once you turn off the back light.... My point is there is a set of peripherals for everyone on PC. Do you have some kind of need to be a special snowflake hipster? Here ya go. Typewriter keyboard.
