Growing up my folks used to make a lot of Kool-Aid. Since finding a sweetener I really like (pure Stevia) I've gotten back into Kool-Aid again. Cheap, easy to prep and lots of flavors readily available.
There is so much difference! Many artificial sweeteners cause an insulin response that can lead to diabetes and weight gain. The best sweetener I have found is Stevia. But it can't be that fake imitation crap they sell in the stores(truvia, purevia, stivia, etc). I buy mine online. IT is like 20X more sweet than any other kind of sweetening agent and has zero calories and does not cause an "insuline response" or have any other known adverse health effects but it is important that you use whole stevia.
