If you're still on the fence:
>plan on running a red dot and a flip magnifier... close to 200$
Nooooo... you're not. You're planning on using an illuminated 1-4x like the Bushnell AR Throw Down
Currently $212 Shipped on Amazon. Mount is probably worthless. Even the higher quality Chinese stuff laser etch their logo on the side. If its just a block of mystery metal, it's a bad sign.
Posting photos of everything will help, but I think you need to lower your price.
I have a Bushnell 1-4, It works well, It's not a true 1x, more like 1.25ish but still works as an awkward red dot.
The 223 bullet drop reticle works good for 300blk just at diferent ranges depending on super/sub. granted I got mine used for 100$ I'm not complaining.
other one has illuminated reticle and is first focal plane, this one is second focal plane (link)
$225 shipped on Amazon Prime ($4 cheaper than Brownells pre-rebate). Also $225 on Optics Planet. And $225 at Walmart. Just FYI.
Primary Arm ACSS $289
Primary Arms are good if you like the reticle, I used to own one and I enjoyed it but I upgraded and I honestly can't recommend the Primary Arms unless you love the reticle or want the extra 2x magnification. I can see better with the 4x Leupold than the Primary Arms at 6x. Glass quality is just stupidly better.
Bushnell BTR-1 $199
Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 $300
Leupold Mark AR 1-4 Firedot $395
Seriously a Leupold for $400. AR Ballistic Turrets instead of caps. Firedot Reticle That you will be able to trade off when you get the money to upgrade. The Precision at Range is a bit crazy if you dial your elevation, especially compared to the ACSS
Leupold Mark Ar Duplex $289
Burris MTAC $325
Vortex Viper PST 1-4 $400
SWFA SS 1-4 $400
Steiner P4Xi $500
I like my Bushnell FFP 1-4x24 on my Sig556. Target turrets in .1Mil clicks and damn good glass for the money. I have the model with the cat tail pre-installed for highspeed paper punching.

It's one of these. Although it was like 289 when I bought it so at this point it's down to the price of a nice replica scope. It's very nice for airsoft, ffp is really cool and very surprising to see in an optic this inexpensive.

^That's ^why ^I'm ^here, ^I ^don't ^judge ^you. ^PM ^/u/xl0 ^if ^I'm ^causing ^any ^trouble. ^WUT?
The Bushnell AR optics 1-4x would be much better on that rifle. A minimum magnification of 4.5x kind of makes close range more difficult.

I had the the v-plex version. I use a lot of Vortex, from this up to the Viper long-range stuff and am happy with them.
That said, for under $200 the Weaver V3 has the best glass (made in Japan) and is the lightest and most compact. And the Bushnell PCL FFP 1-4 is the most feature rich and has similar if not better glass to the Crossfire for under $200. I'd go with either of those over the Crossfire. But they are good scopes for the money and you get the fantastic Vortex Warranty.
Bushnell AR Optics FFP Illuminated BTR-1 BDC Reticle is going for $189 nowadays (last week it was $189)... That's about $50 cheaper than the PA one.

Did you ever get that Vortex elsewhere? If not, I've been pretty happy with this.
I got one of these Bushnell's. 1-4, illuminated reticle, and 200 bucks on sale from 420 off amazon!

This is the one i'm going to grab when i scare up some fun money from the wife. I sold my Strikefire for the same astigmatism reasons
I got this in a primary arms premium mount and butler caps for around $200 shipped. It's more than good for what you need, and pretty much any similar optic that will be recommended will do you well.

I have the Bushnell. Its just above your price range, but I'm really happy with it.

And you need to buy rings too. So price ends up being around $300.
On my rifle. https://imgur.com/DdBA6MC
Like the others said, for under $200 I'd go with some decent iron sites though. Can never go wrong with that

AR accessories:
I recently took my AR out to the range after a winter hiatus and I was surprised to that when I looked through my scope I was seeing strange double images and blur. I thought I might be going crazy so I passed it to my buddy and he also had the same sensation.
Does anyone know the cause and or how to fix it?
Scope in question is a Bushnell AR series BDC "THROWDOWN" (you have to say it like a pro wrestler)
What should I do?
Also I have been having accuracy issues with this rifle and I suspect the scope as one of the prime suspects. Could these be related?
I had it up on /r/gunsforsale but I have a Bushnell PCL (it's cheaper elsewhere, but just linking there for info). I'll sell for $170 shipped (shipping is typically $7 from Philly for that weight). PM me if you're interested.
Beyond that the PA optic linked above nice.
So I used my tax returns to purchase a complete upper and some accesories.
Bushmaster XM-15 E2S lower
SAA complete upper
15" ML5 MLOK rail
16" SAA 5.56 NATO 1:7 nitride M4 Barrel
Complete Nickel Boron BCG
Dragons Head muzzle brake/ linear comp Gen II
Magpul MBUS sights
Magpul MLOK hand stop
Magpul Buffer tube
MFT Battlelink Minimalist Stock
Houge pistol grip
I've got one of them custom engraved dust covers on the way as well. It says "Bona Nocte" on the inside. Which is Latin for "Good Night."
I've been looking at this scope
And possibly this trigger
There's a slight wobble between the upper and lower, any way to fix that? It's very slight, but I want it to feel rock solid.
