Well, what type of boot you want? There's the [Chippewa Apache Lacer that's quite popular.] (http://www.amazon.com/Chippewa-20065-Handcrafted-Lace-Up-Chocolate/dp/B0036VN8N6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370619118&sr=8-1&keywords=chippewa+gq) Near $100 depending on your size. Then the ever-prominent Clark's Desert Boot. Well under $100.

Or if you're wanting more dressy, JCPenney's wingtip boot gets suprisingly good marks despite its low price. No link because it's not online, but I've seen it roaming around my local store.

These are all pretty popular MFA selections and safe bets. Don't forget if you order from Amazon to sign up for there shoe mailing list and you'll get a 20% off code. Note you can create a throwaway email & amazon account and get a new code mailed to you if you've already used this once.

PS. Yes you can wear brown boots with a blue shirt. Blue (especially navy) is the most flexible color of the rainbow.

If this is the clarks desert boots you are talking about, then it's being sold at 99.98 at Amazon without any specific sale. They've gone as low as 70 ish.

I mean, this is a pretty radical opinion here than I'm sure no one else has ever voiced, but there are these shoes called "Clark Desert Boots" that are kinda nifty:

In size 14!

I'm thinking of getting them in this color. Thoughts??

clark's desert boots link since you don't know what they are: http://www.amazon.com/Clarks-Originals-Mens-Desert-Beeswax/dp/B000WU8SBG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377563207&sr=8-1&keywords=clarks+desert+boot+men

check out sebago docksides, on amazon they are arguably better than Sperry, and these can be had as low as about $35 if you sign up for the amazon shoe discount. http://www.amazon.com/Sebago-Mens-Docksides-Boat-Yellow/dp/B009NBRML2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1377563237&sr=8-3&keywords=sebago+docksides+men

That leaves about $200. Are you talking nicer places or are you concerned with PBR stains on your shoes?

Value Village with Community Donations hooked up to them (not sure if they all have them) are great depending on location. The closest one to me (less than five minutes!) is stuck dead between three wealthier cities in the area, and I constantly find really good deals in my size.

AG pants with their tags still on (marked at $230) for $13 last month in my size. They also had these exact clark's chukkas with no wear on the soles that I snagged as well for $9. A little tight at the tip since I have wider feet, but I wasn't going to pass up that opportunity.

My soul hurts every time I recommend these but Clark's Desert Boots sound like they would be perfect for you. They're so ubiquitous here because they're fairly cheap and extremely versatile and go with just about anything.

Go for Clark Deserts in Beeswax; they'll be much better than those Hush Puppies for only $20 more.

The Eastland mocs are really summer/late spring shoes. As such they're generally worn sockless.

Really this depends on where you live. From your choices I am guessing somewhere warm. If so just get the Clarks. If you deal with snow/bad weather, look at Iron Rangers or many of the other 8" boots listed in the fall season guide on the bar on the right.
