Reddit mentions of Corsair Gaming Pbt Double-Shot Keycaps Full 104/105-Keyset - White

Thank you! I’d definitely recommend doing it, I’m not experienced in painting or anything so this was the first time I’ve done a little DIY project like this. It was surprisingly fun :)

As for the keycaps, they were the most frustrating part because Razer has an odd sized layout on the bottom spacebar row. All the keycaps except for the spacebar and macro keys are from this Corsair set here and if you also have a Razer keyboard unfortunately the set I got the spacebar and macro keys from is sold out but it was from KBDfans, I think they have a few sets where you can select “Razer 104 keys” which should come with a size 6 unit spacebar but for some reason the keys that go next to the spacebar are the wrong size, so that’s confusing. That’s why I ended up getting 2 sets lol, seems the Corsair ones fit...except for the spacebar which is a shame because it comes with a really nice spacebar. Hope all that helps!

Ive been looking and it seems a lot of people use the corsair pbt doubleshots as a replacement. They are more durable than the Logitech keys, and they have the same "non standard" bottom row, and its available on amazon. Like $60 here in Canada. I think Ill order a set of those and see how they do. Ill let you know in a week how they fare.

I understand you want something else if you are a programmer, but this is a keyboard aimed at gamers, what I'm trying to say is that a gamer and a r/MK are different customers, sure some overlap, but it is a niche and a smaller niche

The keyboard is a Corsair Strafe Mk 2 with cherry reds, although since discovering this subreddit I've been questioning my purchasing decisions

Corsair does sell white keycaps so you can swap them on a normal K70 MK2. Kinda an expensive solution though. There are other sets of keycaps like HyperX Pudding with the caveat that your two windows keys, your spacebar, and the key to the right of the right windows key will not fit.

Corsair offers a $50 set of PBT double shot key caps in black or white. I have the white on my K65 Rapidfire. Love the look and texture of the caps!

The non-standard bottom row makes finding replacement sets more difficult. Corsair boards have a similar layout, so these will work on the BlackWidow.
