I also say that new flooring should be your first priority. Maybe cream and warm gray vinyl tile or plank?
I think painting your wainscoting gray would look good. You could get some specific recommendations by googling paint colors for oak cabinets, but I'd say a creamy white for your walls and a greige for the wainscot. A stark black gray would clash.
For hardware I'd say an oil rubbed bronze with bin pulls for your drawers like this
I'd do formica countertops in Calcutta marble. You can do them without the standard 4 in backsplash and do tile instead (white subway, hex, or herringbone). They would cost waay less than 2k and look great, not fancy, but more fitting with your existing cabinets.
Instead of buying a new stove and fridge you could just replace your black microwave with a white one and it wouldn't stick out as much.
