I haven't messed with the settings of the wii or gc mode either. I have real GC discs and usbloader to try. So I could try usbloader and change any video output settings too.

If finding a CRT becomes a problem, you can also settle for a monitor with a low response time (~1 ms) as an alternative, along with a wii2HDMI adapter. This way, your monitor can double for melee and PC gaming.
