is really good. I have it, and everything just worked right out of the box. For fortnite though, the dpad does not seem to work. Everything else the dpad works fine though.

For tabletop mode you could use any compatible controller. An Xbox One controller would be a good choice. The 1st eddition controller doesn't have Bluetooth but the revised ones do. They are everywhere, available used, and heck you could even buy one locally and test it out and return it if for some reason it didn't work out.
