I bought some under-cabinet LED strips (specifically https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06VSH3FGM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_Ks2VCTc4kNGVn) and just plugged them in to a smart plug. They even come with adhesive backing if you don't want to put holes in your cabinets. Super simple.

I got this set. (Though this looks like an updated version- mine are not dimmable.) Going on two years, and I haven’t had any issues with them. It is important to note that there is only one motion sensor, and it needs to be the first light from the plug (unless they’ve changed that.)
