You can get them from Amazon for even cheaper, but led lanterns are even better. I have these and they work remarkably well.
I use [these] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01C5QSENQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1525799059&sr=8-2-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=etekcity+lantern&psc=1) and just hang them from the top of the canopy with hooks. Then you can just pull on them and they'll light up your camp. One half open was enough for out site and the batteries lasted through two Roos. They are actually still good but I'll be changing the batteries this year to avoid them dying while at camp.
I'm inland Florida, so here are my tips.
Are you near a river that floods? Find out, because inland river flooding is a PITA. Even if you don't get hit, if upriver gets hit, you're going to be hurting.
Inland, you're going to be worried mainly about wind and trees falling, so structure damage and losing power.
This is a tropical storm, so expect several days of really hot, really sunny days after a big wind goes through. The other response covers most of what you need, but the major thing missing is ways of getting cool. Most modern buildings are built with the expectation of A/C, so they turn into ovens without it.
So here's my recommended list:
Avoid candles. It's a heat source that is just going to be making your life miserable.
I'm in Florida, so I got recommendations for fans and lights.
This is an excellent fan, runs on 6 D batteries. Plus it has a light built in. https://www.amazon.com/O2COOL-Portable-Lighting-Accessories-3-Adjustable/dp/B01H583DJ4
For lights, something like this is good: https://www.amazon.com/Etekcity-Portable-Camping-Lantern-Batteries/dp/B01C5QSENQ
They run off AA batteries. They will light up half a room, easily. And they are easy start: just lift the handle, and they turn on.
Another option for lighting are those battery operated pillar candles. They run on a timer, so 6 on, 18 off. You can set them to turn on at dark and they can run every evening. These are not good for reading, but great for ambience and for getting around the house at night (bathroom, etc). They are very popular around Xmas, and you can usually get them pretty cheap.

Do you have these and like them? Because I'd like to pick up a few lanterns like that, but Fakespot gives those an F on review reliability. 😟
