I need a suggestion for a blazer or sport coat for a new job I might be getting. It's in IT sales, talking to a lot of directors and managers on a regular basis doing presentations and things. Definitely new grounds for me compared to my head-down behind a screen working style I'm used to now.

Need to dress it up a bit and want to really impress, but I don't want to feel stuffy or over-dressed wearing a full suit with matching trousers, it definitely needs to be more business attire though, but not quite "smart casual" if you know what I mean. Most of the places around here the normal office work wear is chinos and a button up casual pattern shirt.

My plan is to find an over coat that I can wear over a long-sleeve button up with chinos or kahkis. I hardly ever wear a tie, but I want it to work with one if needed. So I guess I just want something that is well fitted, versatile, can go with a lot of outfits, and is somewhat neutral. Not necessarily super traditional and formal, but not flashy patterns or anything either. Probably a charcoal, dark gray, or navy blazer or sport jacket is what I'm thinking.

I'm a relatively short 5'7" skinny guy with light skin if that helps lol. All suggestions are welcome! Would like to keep it around $100 if possible. Thanks in advance guys!
