You don't need a fully mounted table vice, but it would make it easier. There are cheap table clamp on vices they are $20 or so, they will work, but they have more play.

And by glock tool, theres a cheap looking glock take down tool on eBay(looks like a punch with a handle).they're a couple dollars on ebay, link for reference. I use this tool pretty often because it's a good size, but roll punch tool is much easier to use, and more unlikely to scratch your lower.
