If that was actual RGB it would be a okay deal but it's not and you can't even change the lighting.

$60 for a backlit rainbow board is far too much, don't buy this crap.

Here's a actual RGB board for $50 : https://www.amazon.com/MechanicalEagle-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches/dp/B01I1N6J34/

Or a rainbow-backlit board for $43 tps://www.amazon.com/DBPOWER-Mechanical-Keyboard-Backlit-Switches/dp/B01AXV7FV2

Another RGB Board for $48(sale ends soon) : https://www.amazon.com/HV-KB366L-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches/dp/B014SHAGVI

Desktop $1,665

Monitor $190

Mouse $60

Keyboard $70

Mouse Pad $10

Total: $1,995

The new desktop I just recommended is an absolute beast, it has an i7 6700k (water cooled), a GTX 1070, 16 GB of DDR4, 2 TB HDD and 240 GB SSD. You can also easily OC the 6700k. Everything is eligible for free shipping.
I hope I could help, let me know if you need anything else!

Looks like a Havits RGB keyboard. Not Cherry MX switches (Outemu swtiches are a less expensive Cherry competitor) but still seems like a good board, especially for a first mechanical keyboard.

I'm looking to get my first mechanical keyboard during Black Friday for around 60 bucks. I have narrowed down my search to the Teamwolf Zhuque, Magic Force 68, and this Havit keyboard. He Havit one looks great but I would like someone else's opinion.

u/Loopy_27 · 1 pointr/Overwatch

idk bud, but I wouldn't recommend getting the chroma, don't get me wrong its a nice keyboard but the price tag on that....hmmmm

In just saying there are just as nice keyboards out there with the same quality, just doesn't show the OW logo or the Razor logo.

I have a nice keyboard coming in the mail today, got it on cyber monday for $55 bucks. It'll get the job done. But hey if you have the money for it go for it. On the razor page (i forget) I read that it would be "coming soon" no set date as of yet

I've got this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014SHAGVI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and its a fun budget option. I enjoy it immensely.

Sorry,
This is the one that i have

Just a cheapo.

It has cherry mx blue clones

So I'm new to mechanical keyboards. I'm still using my first one, which I like a lot (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B014SHAGVI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I want to upgrade but I really do not know where to start

Here's a few things to look at:

  1. full size keyboards (with side numpad)
  1. 71 key (a bit smaller, no side keypad)
  1. 60% key (really small, probably a little too small if you want medium size, but I figured I'd throw it out there.)
  • Anne Pro

The anne pro is the keyboard I'm currently using. It's a little bit over your budget but it's amazing. Really well built, has bluetooth, a ton of different RGB modes and customizations, and it's small and will easily fit on any desk.

From reputation, either one is fine.

There are some no-name Chinese vendors on Amazon US like RedDragon or AULA that can go as low as $40 USD on US site.

I did manage to find Aula's Demon King with Kailh Blues on the UK site for 41.59 Quids

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mechanical-3-district-Professional-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00MO1IS2A

And a HAVIT with Kailh Blues US Layout not EU for 50 quid

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Keyboard-HAVIT-HV-KB366L-Mechanical-Switches/dp/B014SHAGVI/

THe one that I have (in the US layout) is avialable in your area for 65 quid

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thermaltake-Poseidon-Mechanical-Illuminated-Keyboard/dp/B013P160XG/

Again, depends on how badly you want it and the exchange rate. :)

Given current rate of 1 Pound to 1.3 EU The Poseidon is probably too expensive even without duty. But the Demon King may be worth considering. It's a pretty standard KB with the odd thing that it uses 2 separate spring stabilizers in the space bar rather than metal bar (costar) or plastic guide (cherry), but usage wise... should be no different.

no.. i do not own this, as i use a corsair k70 red mx but i have heard really good things about this.. and do want it myself and its on sale atm http://www.amazon.com/dp/B014SHAGVI?psc=1

Someone reccomended this to me: Havit RGB Keyboard

I was looking for a keyboard around $60 or under that's mechanical (Blue switch preferably or secondly red).. and has customizable rgb. It looks like a nice keyboard, but I wish the chasis was black, and I don't really want to paint. But I was wondering is that even a good keyboard, or is there something better for the price?

u/bipyramidal · 1 pointr/buildapcforme

Here's a great deal on a mechanical keyboard if you are interested in that. http://www.amazon.com/HV-KB366L-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches/dp/B014SHAGVI

Otherwise, I'd look at reviews on membrane gaming keyboards, I don't have any particular recommendations and I'm on mobile so going through reviews is a bit hard. There's also usually good peripherals on /r/buildapcsales.

u/felixenfeu · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

You can look at chinese knockoffs. They emulate blue switch (They are not legit cherry MX tho) and poeple seem to like them.

There is a shitload of these, just look around.

Got one of these off Amazon for like 70 bucks. Blue switches, nice led lighting, good feel to it. It's Chinese, which was a bit worrisome as far as quality goes, but it's actually really well built and seems very durable.

Anyway, I really like it and the cost is really good for a decent rgb mechanical

u/jakeredfield · 1 pointr/GlobalOffensive

I use this. It feels great and looks good. I like the more compact size too, meaning no extra fluff around the edges.

u/Arvaci · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Here's an RGB option with MX blues for just a tad more.

u/JigglyRitz · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

They have a full RGB model too for like $10 more.
