For my small bathroom I made a full mirror wall and added storage by buying two more of these. Hand towel on the bottom bar of that shelf for appearance and for guests. Something to fill that space under the oddly positioned mirror - maybe some interesting stick-on and removable backsplash tiles? I bought these but you may want to get something with more color! More in terms of color - maybe something to hang on the left wall.
Once you clear the space over your toilet, maybe a decorative tissue box, fake plant, or anything else decorative. Definitely a towel hook. YOu dont' want to keep hanging that over the curtain rod.
