I bought this on recommendation from another Redditor after reading that the Rosewill rails often don't fit.
I mounted it between 2u and the RSV-L4500 is aligned perfectly to 4u. It was a little more effort than Dell or HP rails but definitely worth the result IMO. Istarusa

Well I decided just to use my ATX server (might get a new MOBO and CPU) and just use that for the storage array. The R310 is strictly for storage, with minimal archiving and backup scripts. So with the ~300 I save for not getting the r310 I can get the dell rails, more hard drives, and SATA expansion cards.
By the way, how am I supposed to mount a whitebox ATX server? Its a standard 2u that is decently heavy and decently deep, but I have no idea how you would mount something like that. I checked amazon, and would these things work?
