What look are you going for, and how much functionality in each aspect are you looking for?

Something like the K2 Uptown (both the 2018 version and the 2017 version) doesn't have the typical "armored boot" look (what I take it you meant by "look like a Transformer"), and is compatible with 4x80mm UFS frames (well-suited for urban and slalom skating), 4x100mm UFS frames (better-suited for long fitness-oriented skate sessions), and 4x61mm UFS frames (better-suited for skate parks and grinding). The K2 Front Street is similar, but is more skate park oriented in its stock configuration than the Uptown.

Depending on your tastes, the Valo SK2 Black Pro boots or the Valo JJ Retro Pure Hemp boots could also be used with the UFS-compatible frames of your choice to create a custom setup.
