I'm a biological lady, and I can assure you - no one can walk in heels their first time. Practice! I like to vacuum in heels because there's a lot of backward and forward motion, and it helps you learn how to steady yourselves in those shoes. As far as the slipping goes, what I like to do is take a serrated kitchen knife and lightly scuff up the bottoms of the shoes to help it grip better. Heels really do tie an outfit together as well as lengthen legs and create a feminine silhouette, and IMO are pretty essential.
