They sell these peeler things that can make noodle out of many veggies. My favorite is zucchini noodles

No no no. Trust me, get this. Can do more, easy to clean, and no waste to the veggies! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000CEWJD/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use this thing which was cheap and is super easy to wash. I'll jelly of of your spiralizer though it looks fun!!

A little late to the thread but I love zucchini and put them in everything. Here's my usual routine:

  1. Cut off the ends then grab my peeler and start making strips for zucchini noodles. (You can use a spiralizer if you have one, but I prefer this. Peel until the seeds start to show. (You won't get good noodles from the core.)

If you do the same with carrots and mix them you have some nice veggie noodles that are great with marinara, pad thai sauce, sweet chili sauce, or anything else. 2 minutes in the microwave is all it takes to soften them up.

  2. I'll take the cores and chop them. Then I can freeze if I'm not going to use immediately. These are great to add in ANY cooked dish you want more veggies in. Chili is a prime example, but Chicken Cacciatore, any kind of curry, or anything else works too.

I'm about to buy one of these which is a cheaper, more functional and useful, and also smaller tool that satisfies exactly the same purpose!

This is the one I have and it's amazing. Super sturdy and really sharp.
