I have glass doors and they are a pain to keep clean and the tracks collect hair etc. If I could go back to a curtain I would in a heart beat! They sell special curtain rods that bow out and in give more space depending on if your in or out of the shower that you may like. Curved shower rods are great, especially doubles, but get the ones that attach to the wall with fasteners rather than friction (those suck). If you can only find a single, get this type of curtain hook.
Curved rods don't take much much extra space, but make the shower feel a lot more spacious.
