Michelin Star Grip - This is a 700x40, I run a 700x35 slicker tread design normally
I originally ordered as just a new tire, but it is a little too thick to run daily in dry weather IMO- but its very good in the wet/potholes too for absorption.
I think the same applies to bikes as cars, but more surface area can only help. It would probably be a good idea to run a thicket/gripper tire in the potentially slicker pavement.
