never to big or old for bmx , but what kind of budget you working with ? i would suggest any bike you look at be at least 21inch top tube , prob 11 inch tall bars and have double walled rims , seeing your new you might not want to spend 400-500 on a full chromoly bike but its definitely worth it if you think you will stick to it . bmx bikes help you lose alot of weight cause its not just your legs pushing the bike your standing about 80% of the time so your hole body gets a nice work out if your in the UK they got some great deals right now on but im not sure on how much shipping would be but https://www.sourcebmx.com/en/Kink-Gap-XL-BMX-Bike-2019/m-35842.aspx is beyond a killer deal right now

but personally that king is where its at
that being said you can get a used bmx anywhere from 150-200 but you will have to make sure things like the bearings are good there are no cracks in the frame , make sure tires are trued , then as well make sure any worn out parts will be changed out like cranks or headset bearings
