Adapters are so cheap that you shouldn't buy a vastly inferior card just because it has a built in VGA port.

I bought this one. Works great. It is active so it only does HDMI to VGA and not visa versa.

I think I might have found the problem. The drivers are installed and it's detected by the pc but when I go into bios and set the main gpu to be PCIe it won't show anything. And I think it's cause of the cables :

First of all, in order to enable GPU acceleration, windows needs to think there's a monitor attached to the video card, so you may need a dongle like this one.

You can also use an hdmi -> vga adaptor like this or anything else that fools the operating system into thinking there's a monitor attached, unless you want to plug in a real monitor, but since your final goal is to use the VM through remote access, I don't think that would be ideal.

I do this to play games with steam in-home streaming server running in a VM(also have virtual mouse/keyboard attached or windows 10 won't show cursor pointer) and works great.

While steam in home streaming is not ideal for remote desktop access, there are some alternatives that can work, such as turbovnc which apparently was designed for running 3d applications remotely(haven't tried though)

Are you sure you're using an actual powered VGA to HDMI converter? Or is it just a cable/adapter with HDMI on one end and VGA on the other? VGA>HDMI requires a powered converter to actually convert the analog signal into a digital one.

Your old DVI adapter won't work since it needs a DVI-I port and new cards use DVI-D(if they even have a DVI port)

This gives you 3 hdmi connections at the same time. Using an hdmi to vga adapter will give you an vga connection.

Samsung seems to have a strong grip on the SSD/NVMe market, but other sellers are okay too, just consider what you'll be using the drive for and compare with V-NAND, 3D NAND or QLC, TLC options; it's likely if you're just going with gaming that you can use a cheaper larger capacity NVMe drive, or change your HDD to an SSD, e.g. crucial Mx; you'll see improvements in performance loading times with an SSD over an HDD, and movies and other media will load faster as well especially if streaming over a plex server or something like that.

DVI to VGA adapters have not worked for me from both of my graphics cards. However, a cheap HDMI to VGA like this one has worked for me in the past. I can't vouch for that particular adapter though.
