I can understand why you're getting frustrated with other people's responses so I'm going to suggest some practical steps that start with easy and safe actions. Read this book and this book. After the second book, start practicing mindfulness meditation regularly. Also start exercising regularly if you don't already and learn a bit about nutrition and eating healthier. These are all evidence backed ways for you to feel better about yourself and deal with problems you have socially. As a side note, I know it's a cliche thing to say, but looks aren't everything. Practice good hygiene, wear clothes that fit and don't underestimate what a bit of confidence and self-deprecating humour can do for your level of attractiveness. Better confidence will come by following the above steps.

I'd really recommend this. You can get a copy secondhand quite cheaply. Or if you live in the UK it's one of the books on prescription from the library.

Re. the above comment about CBT, my doctor recommended Overcoming Social Anxiety and Shyness by Gillian Butler:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Overcoming-Social-Anxiety-Shyness-Gillian/dp/1849010005/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1397065122&sr=8-1&keywords=gillian+butler+CBT

Its very good and helpful.

My doctor also pointed me toward this website which is rather handy and helpful. I strongly recommend CBT! Good Luck

Well the good news is you can overcome this, the bad news is it takes effort and time. Get this book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Overcoming-Social-Anxiety-Shyness-Gillian/dp/1849010005/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425218074&sr=8-1&keywords=overcoming+social+anxiety[1]

It's prescribed by the NHS, written by specialist doctors etc. It's the real deal, not some bullshit written by a self entitled self help guru. As for the physique, join a gym and start doing strength training and bulking. /r/gainit is a good community with lots of good guidelines.

Don't worry, I guarantee that if you're committed to change then in a few years you'll look back and see how far you've come.

I've overcome 95% of my SA, and although I can't say for sure that it was this, I'm almost positive this book did it ("almost positive" because I've not really done anything else to sort my anxiety out)...
