If you are looking to primarily shoot with irons as well, and have no plans to put a red dot or some "glass" to co-whitness with, you might even consider a non-folding rear iron sight. Usually they are built a bit better and can be even cheaper.

The daniel defense one here is top of the top in my opinion. If thats a bit out of your budget though, I have found that this ozark one does the job, albiet no frills.

That has yet to be seen... it is metal, and the detents all hold well enough. It will work wonderfully, you can just tell it's low quality from the finish.
