Allow me to blow your mind, they now have erasable pens, and yes they do actually erase!

My boyfriend got me a nameplate for my desk and a stamp that says my name (for stamping my classroom library, their assignment notebooks, etc.). He also got me a bunch of stamps for grading. Ones that say wonderful and sign here. I use those all of the time. Special grading pens are nice. I have these friction pens. They're the besssst!!

I used to mark my sheet music with pencil, and I use a lot of markings indeed.

Now i use erasable frixion gel pens, and they come in different colors so now I can color code my notes. It’s super handy! Best thing is these pens are erasable so once I don’t need the notes i just erase them and don’t have to worry about marring my books. Best invention ever.

This is a very common type of erasable ink that is available in Pilot Friction pens. I have a bunch of them. The pens have a plastic/rubber eraser on the ends, but they don't erase in the usual way. They just rub against the paper such that the friction cause the ink to get warm. I've had notebooks where I left them in a warm car or something and came back to find the notes had disappeared. You can bring back the ink by putting the notes in the fridge or freezer.

I have one of these fountain pens. It looks like it may be unavailable now but /r/fountainpens can have you covered.

These kind of pens write very well but the ink erases with heat (that's the point) so I wouldn't get the pages you write in too hot.

Re: Disappearing ink pens: If I can iron it, I buy the retractable Frixion pens (retractable because I keep misplacing things). Granted, I have to re-draw everything if I use fusible interfacing but irons/rubs away with no problem. http://www.amazon.com/Pilot-FriXion-Retractable-Erasable-Assorted/dp/B009QYH644

Re: tailor's chalk: I've got the dritz one with the holder. The holder's lid has a little metal V sharpen. http://www.amazon.com/Dritz-Tailors-Chalk-and-Holder/dp/B005571HL4

these Pilot Frixion Pens are my favorite.

The Rocketbook Wave is also great for lecture.

> Should you need to make a copy of the back of the campaign guide

You don't have to. You can. Someone once suggested these pens to me and they have been a great tool in war on writing on things for my board games.

> Is there any replay-ability at all

There definitely is. 4 difficulties alone make a lot of replay-ability, new cards and characters make it replay-able. If you don't spoil all the different outcomes, it has replay-ability there. We find that once you've stepped away from the game for a bit... unless your memory is impeccable, it's often hard to remember exactly which outcomes lead to which endings, etc.

Be prepared for things to go wrong. Like any Lovecraft themed game.

Meet Frixion Pens I love them for being able to reorganize stuff, also for sewing. lol.

I totally get where you are coming from though. It's whatever works for you. I love the act of writing it down, it makes it mean more to me. Plus it gives me a good reason to have some solid "me" time in the morning where I check in with it.

I would suggest a pilot vanishing point as other people have said. Clicky fountain pens.

I may also suggest as an alternative (non fountain pen) using a Pilot Frixion

retractable (well some of them are, some are regular capped), ERASABLE, gel pen. i love them.

For me, I am a big fan of the Frixion retractable erasable gel pens. I always make mistakes when writing but hate the look of pencils in a moleskine and hate the smudging of a standard erasable pen. These hardly smudge, are pretty pigmented ink for an erasable pen, and erase well. The two cons about it are that they are slightly expensive and run out of ink relatively quickly but it's completely worth it for me.

See if you can find these. Works for my US charts, at least.
